Originally from New York City, AJ trained as a designer at London's Central St Martins before moving into styling for Conde Nast's Mademoiselle, The Village Voice and The New York Sunday Times in the USA.

On relocating to London she worked as Fashion Editor for Company Magazine, Conde Nast's Brides & Setting Up Home and Zest before moving into the world of freelance styling.

Magazine work for clients as diverse as Grazia, Easy Living, You (Mail on Sunday) and ES (Evening Standard).

Styling celebrities including Davina McCall, Kirsty Gallacher, Ioan Gruffudd, Daniel Craig, Max Beesley, Nigel Havers, Vinnie Jones, Honor Blackman and Julie Walters has given AJ an admirable versatility and the ability to focus on what looks best for each very different individual.
